The player hit a side bet playing $5 legal blackjack on the Super 4 progressive jackpot, where they hit a 4-card royal flush consisting of a jack, queen, king, and ace of diamonds.
The total payout on the blackjack side bet was a whopping $703,977 on just a $5 bet. The odds of obtaining a royal flush in diamonds playing this side bet are approximately a 0.0001673% when playing at an eight-deck blackjack table.
Not The Only Jackpot Won At Mohegan Sun
Just one day prior, on January 29th, Mohegan Sun’s sister casino, Casino of the Sky, paid out a massive $267,110.14 jackpot on the “Huff N’ Even More Puff slot game."
Outside of the Connecticut blackjack jackpots, Mohegan Sun saw online casino wins with two $750k online slot jackpot hits about two weeks before the in person jackpots were won on January 16th.
