Palms Casino In Las Vegas Reintroduces 3:2 Blackjack Tables

  • The Palms Casino in Las Vegas is bringing back their 3:2 blackjack tables.
  • The change comes shortly after Kevin Glass was announced as their new GM.

LAS VEGAS – The Palms Casino in Las Vegas is looking to get the upper hand in blackjack with their reintroduced 3:2 blackjack tables. Like many casinos on the Vegas Strip, they faded away from 3:2 payouts on blackjack, giving them an increased house edge of 1.3%.

However, in an attempt to compete with not just the other legal blackjack operators on the strip, but online casinos around the country, they’ve reinstated their offerings of 3:2 blackjack.

3:2 blackjack wasn’t completely exiled from the Palms Casino - they just only offered it in high-stakes table areas. Now, players are able to come across them more often in low-stakes areas ranging from $10–$25.

The implementation of 3:2 tables came shortly after the Palms Casino announced Kevin Glass as their new property General Manager back in September 2025.

The Impact

The shift to select 3:2 tables being offered will have an immediate impact on several key areas at the Palms.

From a business standpoint, locals will turn to the Palms when they look for blackjack in Las Vegas that has an advantage in payouts. This will also heavily increase their foot traffic on the property and target higher volume players.

In the eyes of the player, they’ll be rewarded with competitive rules in their favor in the form of better hand values and being able to make the most out of their bankroll. There is also a decrease in the long-term house advantage compared to 6:5 payouts.
