- Kick streamer TheGoobr is getting more negative attention after losing $175k on seven blackjack hands in a single round.
- He has a history of losing large amounts of money on stream and has been reported to be millions of dollars in debt.
NEW YORK – Popular Kick streamer TheGoobr made headlines on Tuesday after losing $175k on seven blackjack hands in one round.
The streamer held hands of 19, 20, 16, 19, 20, 16, and 20, only to lose each hand to the dealer’s 21.
The clip from LiveStreamWins calls it the “biggest live mistake ever,” with $25k placed on each hand for a total of $175k wagered in one round.
TheGoobr has been known to make rash decisions and wager massive amounts of money, borrowing and blowing $50k from a friend back in December of 2025. Some have expressed concern over the streamer’s actions, who claimed to be $3.8 million in the hole just a few months ago.
However, he seems to have no plans to stop any time soon and streams daily, with his streams consisting mainly of legal blackjack and other online casino games.
He has partnered with the online gaming platform Shuffle, but has walked a fine line between promoting gambling and problem gambling for quite some time. His content is meant to be for entertainment, but there is a question of where the line is drawn between entertainment and real gambling addiction. It can also be harmful to younger, more easily influenced viewers who think it’s a good idea for them to do something similar.
