- Bodog is rebranding their online casino, sportsbook, and poker room.
- The Bodog name was not renewed.
- Ozoon will still offer online casino, poker, and sports betting.
TORONTO – A major shift has come in the online gambling industry as popular online gambling site, Bodog, has rebranded to Ozoon after almost 30 years of service.
Not to worry, though, the legal online blackjack site will still offer live dealer blackjack, online sports betting, poker, and other casino games. The reason behind the rebrand is that gaming operators did not renew the actual Bodog name.
The announcement came on Monday, February 16th, when Bodog announced an overnight maintenance update without revealing the Ozoon name. Along with the rebrand, all players' accounts were successfully transferred over to Ozoon’s service on Tuesday.
Bodog put out this short statement after the announcement of the rebrand:
“While we are thankful for such a positive partnership for so many years, this presents us with an opportunity for us to relaunch under a different brand name.”
Former Bodog users in South America have had their accounts transferred to their sister gambling site, Ignition casino to play online poker.
What Will Ozoon Offer?
As far as their offerings, not much is going to change with Ozoon. They’ll still be offering hundreds of online casino games, including slots, online poker, and several options for table games.
On the blackjack side of things, users will be able to play both digital and live dealer blackjack, along with other variations of it as well.
