METTLER, Calif. – The latest addition to the Hard Rock family is their new Hard Rock Casino Tejon in Mettler, which officially opened its doors on November 13.
The new $600 million project is 150,000 square feet of casino space, and a perfect addition for those looking for blackjack in Los Angeles, or 100 miles from it.
The grand opening featured their Guitar Smash Ceremony, a color guard presentation, and a massive $100k donation to charity.
As far as what the casino floor is going to offer, there are 50+ table games, including several legal blackjack tables, over 2,000 slot machines, and a high-limit room, amongst several other games.
"Today is a historic day for the Tejon Indian Tribe and for Kern County," said Chairman Octavio Escobedo III of the Tejon Indian Tribe. "This destination represents our Tribe's vision, resilience, and longstanding commitment to creating opportunity for future generations. We are proud to see this project come to life and to celebrate this moment alongside our partners and our community."
What’s Next For Hard Rock Casino Tejon

"Phase II will bring the full Hard Rock experience to life with a world-class hotel and Hard Rock Live entertainment venue that will make Kern County a premier destination for travelers, artists, and fans from across California and beyond."
