Live Dealer Blackjack Revenue Continues to Grow Worldwide

  • Live dealer casino games reeled in over $7 billion in handle for 2024, and 2025 reports show no signs of slowing down in the future.

PHILADELPHIA – The live dealer casino revenue in 2024 reached a record $7.8 billion globally. That record-breaking total projects to be surpassed in 2025 with the emergence of more legal online blackjack markets in more countries like Brazil.

Brazil launched their regulated online casino industry on the first day of 2025. With a population of around 213 million people, the addition of legal Brazil blackjack contributes to estimates of live dealer contributing to 30-35% of all online casino revenue in 2025. For 2024, this was just 21% despite the record-breaking revenue totals.

Early reports for 2026 iGaming revenue in the United States are consistent with global growth projections. Pennsylvania recorded their second-best month ever in January 2026 with $316.2 million in gross iGaming revenue.

Online slots consumed a large portion of this iGaming revenue at $261.7 million and a bulk of the state’s total tax revenue since they’re taxed at 34% compared to just 14% of live dealer tables, but interactive table numbers are surging. The revenue report provided by the Pennsylvania Gambling Control Board showed a handle of $3.01 billion for live dealer table games at state-regulated online casinos.

That handle translated into $51,971,610 in gross revenue. Just a year ago, Pennsylvania blackjack sites recorded $2.92 billion in handle and $48.9 million in revenue across all interactive tables.

For 2026, live dealer blackjack and other interactive table games expect to continue their rise with the addition of new markets throughout the world and in the US. Regulated iGaming passed in Maine at the start of 2026, and many other states like New York and Virginia are actively considering online live dealer gambling.
