LAS VEGAS – The NASCAR Cup Series Round of 8 continues on Sunday, October 12, however, the weekend will officially get going on the Friday before the race at the South Point Hotel in Vegas, as they are hosting the Brendan Gaughan Celebrity Blackjack Tournament.
Playing in the legal blackjack tournament will be several fan favorite drivers, including Chase Briscoe, Austin Dillon, and Kyle Busch. The tournament will take place on October 10 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
What To Know About The Tournament
First and foremost, anyone is able to enter the tournament via the registration link, which players can find here.
It’s a $1,500 entrance fee to participate in the tournament that will give each participant $5k in tournament chips and access to the cocktail reception, also hosted at the South Point Hotel. As far as payouts, they are as follows:

- 1st Place: $6,500
- 2nd Place: $4,000
- 3rd Place: $2,500
- 4th Place: Dinner for two @ Don Vito’s or Silverado Steakhouse + Headliner Showroom tickets
- 5th Place: Dinner for two @ Primarily Prime Rib or Baja Miguel’s + Headliner Showroom tickets
All of the proceeds that are made from the blackjack tournament will go towards the Speedway Children’s Charities. This nonprofit organization supports children in need all throughout the Las Vegas area.
